How much does the trading bot cost?

Our trading bot itself is free to use. However, activating a subscription requires burning HELIOS tokens.

How many HELIOS tokens do I need to burn?

We offer three HELIOS Burn subscription models:

How does it work?

1. Sign In: Use HIVE Keychain to grant active authority to our bot to trade on your behalf.
2. Choose a Bot: Select one or more bots.
3. Burn HELIOS: Burn the required amount of HELIOS tokens to activate your bot.

Where can I get HELIOS tokens to burn?

You can earn HELIOS tokens by delegating Hive Power to @helios.voter on the HIVE blockchain. Alternatively, you can purchase HELIOS tokens on the Hive-Engine open market: Buy HELIOS

My bot is active but I do not see any trades happening. Why?

After activating your bot, ensure you update the trade settings for HIVE and/or HBD to a number greater than 0. Bots are initially set to zero until the user configures the trade settings.

I removed my bot and now it says I need to burn HELIOS again. Why?

Yes, once a bot is removed, it is a permanent action. To reactivate a removed bot, you will need to burn more HELIOS tokens. If you wish to pause a bot instead of removing it, simply set the trade settings to zero for that bot.

How do I revoke my active authority?

To revoke active authority:

1. Open your HIVE Keychain app.
2. Click on Accounts and then Manage Authorities.
3. Find helios.trader and click Remove.

Once the authority is removed, our bot will no longer be able to place trades on your behalf. Your account will be automatically cleared from our system once the change is detected. Any new bot activation after removal will require a HELIOS burn.

What should I do if the burn option for my subscription isn't coming up?

If you find that the burn option for renewing your subscription isn't appearing, it might be because your previous subscription hasn't been removed from our system yet. Our system checks and removes expired subscriptions regularly, but if you encounter this issue, please follow these steps:

1. Wait for the Next Interval Check: Our system checks and removes expired subscriptions every hour. Your subscription should be removed automatically during the next check.

2. Manual Removal: If you need immediate access and can't wait for the next interval, you can manually remove your subscription by logging in and selecting the "Remove account from bot" option in your account settings.

3. Contact Support: If the issue persists, please contact our support team at [support email/phone number], and we'll assist you in resolving the issue as soon as possible.

4. Update Your Subscription: Once the expired subscription has been removed, you will be able to see the burn option again and renew your subscription without any issues.

The hive.trading website is developed and managed by @coininstant (HIVE reputation of 69).

How profitable is the bot?

Profitability varies based on the user strategy and external market conditions. Our bots are tools designed to help users identify key trends. When used correctly, bots can provide a profitable edge. Variables include the number of bots used and the duration of various market trends during the usage of the bots. Bots shouldn't be thought of as a total supplement to trading, but more of a complement that can run side by side with your trading.
